Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding with the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan, regarding Support for Industrial Cyber Security Education
On July 10, 2024, KOSEN-KMITL in Thailand and the Information-technology Promotion Agency, Japan (hereinafter called IPA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation on the development of teaching materials and teacher training to enhance industrial cyber security education in Thailand. In the future, we will develop educational materials and train teachers for industrial cyber security education at power plants and factories, utilizing IPA's experience and assets in the cyber security human resource development project currently underway at KOSEN-KMITL.
Mr. Nattawoot Depaiwa, Principal of KOSEN-KMITL, said that he hopes that this agreement will contribute to Thai society by enhancing industrial cyber security education, which is urgently needed in Thailand, and by fostering practical engineers.
